The whole environment is 'choquant' in Mauritius. This is why the tourists are
not encouraged to wander and visit places like these. Future generations will curse
this generation for handing over to them a country with a moribund environment.

This generation burns incense in front of and prays to only one God - money.
In a few more decades the mess we have created and are still creating will choke
us. One does not hear anymore about environmental impact study before a
project is approved. Just put your fat cheque on the table and do as you please
especially if you happen to be chinese or indian. The Environment Minister must
have the cushiest job in Mauritius.
